total bullshit. You werent even born in 87 when it came out. If your frist gaming machine was a NES then that's because your parents couldnt afford the N64 that had just come out last year.
My first gaming system was the NES. I got it from my grandparents because they had two after my uncle upgraded to a PS1, or something like that (I got that PS1 when he got a new PS1 too). I dont fully remember how I got it, but it was my first console.
I got an N64 a few years later for Christmas. Had both.

See... That's not the same thing. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to know how often that NES was played when you had a PS1 sitting there. pssst.... Never
I got one of those a few years ago. My other grandparents had a SNES and a Genesis from a garage sale. I'd play them when I went to their house. Then I asked them if I could have them, and they said sure. Lol

All im saying is I was 10 when I got my first NES, that came with the
ROB bundle. Still have it. And I remember ripping off the packaging of
those brand new NES games and thinking how they killed the Atarii
2600/7800. I remembered the new game smell that came with all NES games. I remember when the Contra code leak first went viral and
everyone was like "GOAT code!!!! OMG!". It's just not your generation.

I didnt get the PS1 until years later. That was a sidenote. I got the N64 before the PS1, but I still had the NES a few years first. I played the NES freqently because Mario, Zelda, Kirby's Adventure, and Castlevania kick ass.
