Just Google Adalia Rose. She became a meme. She has that syndrome that makes you look like an alien, don't know what it's called, but the gigantic head, small mouth and nose, huge bug eyes, and a high pitched, shrillish, child voice. She became a meme, which although terrible, are fucking hilarious. "She" has a Facebook, which is clearly her Mom, which is basically one of those pathetic sympathy likewhore pages, where "She" posts all these pictures of her tryna be a "normal kid" to get her some likes and sympathy, but all it's led to is her being mercilessly bashed, in the comments, on the page, and her being turned into a meme. The most famous one being her head on E.T.'s body, that says "Adalia phone home.". Great parenting. Fucking sickening.
Holy fuck, I love this nigga, hit the nail right on the fucking head. =D>
"I love it when people with serious disorders like Adalia Rose get put on a pedestal. That person’s parents or a strong supporter will make them a website or a Facebook page, where other people can give them respect and say things like “Adalia Rose is so beautiful and strong!” and like that person’s page and share that person’s pictures.
It’s ironic because there are tens of thousands of children out there with serious illnesses that need help, many of which are in more pain and closer to death than Adalia. No one gives a shit about them because they don’t have Facebook pages to like. Liking Facebook pages such as Adalia’s is a lot like praying–it’s a great way to do absolutely nothing and still think you’re helping.
If you know who Adalia Rose is and support her, have you REALLY helped her? Do you think leaving her comments like “you’re so beautiful!” and reblogging a heartfelt message some tool on Tumblr said will do anything for her?
I know your first thought wasn’t “she’s so beautiful!” If you go around telling people she is, you’re a lying hypocrite and you don’t actually support Adalia Rose. Here’s another question for you: If you do support Adalia Rose, have you been sharing her donation page? I would think her strongest supporters would be willing to help her by donating to her family, spreading the word about Progeria and her donation page, or better yet donating to the Progeria Research Foundation to help find treatments for children affected by Progeria. I already know you probably haven’t donated or care to donate. Her Facebook says it all:
The screen captures of her likes/shares were taken at about 5:45 AM, 6/30/2012. If you and other people really support Adalia Rose, there would be a lot more likes and shares for her donation page and nowhere near as many for her YouTube videos.
You might have the urge to point out the dates of these posts; after all, her donation page was only shared about sixteen hours ago at the time of this writing, while her YouTube video has been up for three days. The issue really isn’t how long the posts have been up, but rather the ratio of likes between the posts:
155,488 to 8,016 likes.
Oh, and let’s not forget the number of shares:
4,254 to 130 shares.
This is absolutely pathetic. Apparently people care a lot more about watching Adalia than doing something that would help her! If you really want to help and support Adalia Rose, you will need to:
DONATE to her or at least share her donation page if you’re too cheap to afford it: http://www.giveforward.com/ OR DONATE to or share the Progeria Research Foundation page: http://www.progeriaresearch.org/ and http://www.facebook.com/ProgeriaResearch -Funny that the Progeria Research Foundation page only has 5,872 likes. Not very many people care about Progeria, which is the disorder Adalia has, yet are perfectly fine with pretending to support her with useless fake compliments and page likes. If you like or share one of Adalia’s other statuses or pictures, replace your “she’s so beautiful and strong!” bullcrap with a link to her donation page. No one cares if you say she’s beautiful, especially because we all know you’re lying out your ass anyway. Oh, and one last thing: No, I haven’t donated to Adalia Rose, and I haven’t donated to the Progeria Research Foundation. I don’t particularly care about Adalia or Progeria, but I’m willing to share both of their information in case people are actually interested in donating. In a way, I’m helping a lot more than any idiot who hits her “like” button.
And for anyone who thinks they support Adalia Rose and wants to send me hate: Do know I’m tracking the number of clicks on the three links above. If I’m getting a lot more hate than clicks, I know you guys don’t really care as much about Adalia as you do your shattered ego. Hypocrites.
Update 7-05-2012:
I’ve decided to take examples of the idiots who blindly follow Adalia Rose and open their fat mouth at the first sign of criticism, and comment on what they’ve said. First, a comment from FunnyJunk from a member of “Team Adalia” responding to a hater:
“yo stfu leave her alone shes brave enough to tell the world dnt #@!$in call us mother$#@!ers u the muther$#@!er leave her alone u dumb asshole its ppl lik u tht i wanna $#@!in beat the !@#$ out of leave her the $#@! alone u bastards out there $#@! off u douche TEAM ADALIA”
My response:
ADALIA WASN’T “BRAVE ENOUGH TO TELL THE WORLD”. HER PARENTS MADE HER PUBLIC TO GET MONEY AND ATTENTION. Adalia is five years old. She didn’t go on Facebook and publicize herself; her parents did so they could rake in donations. Second, let me get this straight: It’s not okay for someone to insult Adalia, but it’s perfectly okay for you to insult the person insulting Adalia and to beat the hell out of them? This isn’t the only example of someone being a hypocrite. Here’s a couple other comments from a thread on Yahoo answers:
“This makes me sick, you are a heartless person. How dare you call her ugly! So what if she doesn’t look like other people? That doesn’t make her ugly. She’s beautiful and you’re obviously too blind, stuck up, and arrogant to see that. It’s raising awareness for the uncurable disease too! For peets sake she’s 5! If you don’t want to see posts about her then take it off your newsfeed, once you’re done get a heart!”
“So you would rather not have people pay attention to her and ignore the disease she has? It’s raising awareness and who cares if she’s getting a lot of attention? You are rude, immature, and don’t know anything. You should be ashamed of yourself.”
First of all, it’s not that she “doesn’t look like other people”. Also, it doesn’t make people blind to tell the truth. It does, however, make people liars to say Adalia Rose is beautiful when everyone knows deep down inside she’s not pretty on the outside in any way.
And don’t give me this “she’s beautiful on the inside” bullcrap. “Beautiful on the inside” is just a nice way of saying, “you’re hideous and I’ll never find you physically attractive, BUT I’m sure you’re a nice, gentle person!”
And Adalia Rose’s page is not “raising awareness for the incurable disease (Progeria)”. So far none of her supporters have helped raise awareness for Progeria, and no information about Progeria or Progeria research has been shared on Adalia’s Facebook page (Update: she clearly has the Progeria Research Foundation on her page now. Nevermind).
No fan of Adalia cares about her condition or raising awareness of it; they only care about flocking to her side and yelling “TEAM ADALIA!” as if they’re in a Twilight movie. Adalia’s parents care a lot more about raising money to buy their daughter a real hair wig than helping spread awareness about Progeria.
Update 7/07/2012: I disabled comments on this article because the vast majority of people commenting are idiots. If you want to send me a message, use my contact page so I can print out your comment and use it as toilet paper, because chances are that’s about all your hate is worth. Let me get this straight to you:
1. I have nothing against Adalia Rose. This isn’t a hate article against Adalia Rose, it’s a hate article against you dipshits that think you’re helping Adalia by liking her Facebook page, then go scouring the internet for haters so you can yell “You’re a horrible sick person! Adalia is a strong beautiful little girl! TEAM ADALIA!!!!” Usually the same people who go around doing this are the same ones who have never even thought of actually helping her by sending her a letter with stuff or donating to her, and have definitely not thought about spreading information about Progeria.
Oh, and you’re angry because I said Adalia isn’t beautiful? Sorry I don’t hide my opinion behind fake compliments like most of you tools. Screw off.
2. This isn’t a donation page for Adalia. I don’t care whether you donate to her or not. The reason why I put up the links multiple times was to prove a point: most of you from point 1 aren’t going to click on them, whether you think you support Adalia or not. Here are the statistics for this article so far, as of 9:00 PM CST, 7/7/2012:
Total number of views for this page: 813 Total number of referrals for Adalia Rose’s donation page: 5 Total number of referrals for the Progeria Research Foundation: 19
Tell me, members of “Team Adalia”: When you shared the above two pages on your Facebook, how many clicks do you think you got? It would probably be about the same, but it doesn’t matter because this is a trick question. You never shared them in the first place.
If you support Adalia Rose, quit being a hypocrite and actually help her or shut up. I’ve helped more than 99% of her moron supporters just by putting up these links.".
Also, (Not directed at you, Bianca.), can't wait for "Wahhhh Erik is an insensitive piece of shit and is making fun of a serious illness.", 'cause that's not the case at all, I basically, to a T, share the same sentiments as the nigga who wrote that long ass post that I posted. ^^^^^^^
u dont understand... knowing this uncle if i went to his funeral and his brothers were there my other uncles who fucked him over he'd probably hate on me just for being around the bastards.... i hate to even hear the S.O.B. chat going on at the funeral home or cemetary
