figure it be an interesting topic. Actually the first leaked album i got period was the Eminem Show, but i had to buy it from a friend at school (this was like 2 weeks before it came out) First one i ever downloaded was "The Dutchess" from Fergie (fuck off)

And the first one from here (which i expect several of you with the same answer lol) was Slipknots "all hope is gone"

They definitely were. Back then my main ways to download albums were FTP downloads and mIRC channels. I remember using Napster a little bit before Metallica sued them and when it was free.
