Yeah I think you guys are being a little overdramatic about it. You make it sound like next year will be "Rockstar Mayhem Fest starring...Limp Bizkit! Nickelback! Blink 182! With the Jagermister stage headlined by 50 Cent!"
It will still be a good metal/hard rock festival. And Santana any good businessperson wouldnt be content with just making a slight profit. You have to remember he runs many tours. The Country Throwdown tour had to cancel several dates, so who knows what that did to the profit of that tour.
"Limp Bizkit just had to cancel their tour because it wasnt selling. Thats a perfect canidate to headline a festival /sarcasm"
with all fareness to LB though, none of the headliners have been pulling in ridiculous crowds recently on their respective tours. Slipknot has probably drawn the best and they're not pulling in close to what they were 10 years ago. They've all had to result to smaller venues the past few years. LB were the only ones stupid enough to book large venues. I don't see how you could possibly disinclude LB as a possibility. All these headliners fall into the same category. "Big in the 90s, not so relevant anymore." As long as Lyman packages two somewhat popular headliners along with decent side bands, it'll draw enough to make a profit.

He wouldn't make a slight profit. Even with death metal an thrash metal they would still make a good profit

Dude my Mayhem date last year was only 3/4 full, if that. Mayhem sales this year are up like, what, 30 percent? The numbers dont lie dude.
