Two completely different kinds of heat. The weather up in the North is as good as it gets. We get seasons unlike the south, fall is beautiful, Tahoe isn't far away for some of the best skiing in the world, summers are unbeatable, I could go on forever.
My friend took a screwdriver through the hand while living in lansing, then he pulled it out and stabbed the guy in the stomach twice with that same screwdriver, and calmly told him to not fuck with him anymore, then went on his merry way.
