Was it a step up from the last two? Yes. But, clearly that's not saying much at all. Does it compare to the older material? Fuck No. Im not sure why so many people want to compare this to the older material because it's not close, at all. I think alot of the die hard Korn fans are either delusional or simply in denial about the fact that the band just isn't interesting anymore. The entire album was incredibly bland and boring. 5/10, im being kind.
I listened to it a long time ago because I was curious to what it was going to sound like since Jonathan said they were done experimenting and gonna go back to what they sounded like in the past. The songs fucking suck, the only good one is "Oildale" and that's why it became their single. And that song took a while to grow on me.
