i cant wait for the fights. thats the only reason to watch. that and it kind of makes your life look better realizing that there are thoes fist-pumping, gorrilla hunting, juice head wannbee, man and female whores out there. my trashyness pales in comparrison
ah to live in jersey/seaside (taken from a dvdtalk poster who lives in the area)
Also, had another run-in that night. I should preface that the ex lives in Toms River so Seaside is our beach of choice. I know this is starting to seem like stalking. We headed to Karma that night. We got there around 10 and a few minutes later we saw an MTV guy scoping out the place. An hour or so later you saw the rush. It was a madhouse. People RUSH them whenever they decide to mingle in the crowd. If I were them I would genuinely be nervous about the people there. I mean they are given like a 2 foot bubble with everyone chanting around them. On top of that, MTV has the cameras literally a foot away from their face. I don't know how they can deal with that.
They were in their own section for the most part, in the bottle service area. Entrance to the area was obviously restricted to only those getting bottle service.
The Situation and Vinny were visibly intoxicated. This was something I don't think we have seen on the show before. We were walking by the bar, and we just happened to see Mike there. I don't think the crowd had noticed yet. Some old guy was doing some magic trick for him and some girl next to him. Seemed like a setup. He was PLASTERED. It didn't even look like his eyes could focus when he took down his sunglasses. The ex signed a waiver, I didn't. I don't think I want to be in any shots.
You always knew when they were coming around because you saw a big light and bouncers pushing everyone out of the way. Pauly D and Vinny seemed very happy to meet people. I didn't go up to them. Crowds were insane, especially girls. They just trail them like a gaggle of geese. It literally looks exactly like that.
When J-Wow walked by she was followed by some really big guy, who appeared to be her guy for the night. She had a look like she did not want to be talked to, and the crowd pretty much obliged her. She does not have the following that Mike, Pauly D, Vinny, and Snookie have. The crowds LOVE Snookie. When Snookie took to the dancefloor the cheers were huge. She definitely seems to be the female fan favorite.
All in all it was really a bizarre experience when you're dancing minding your own business, and Little Snookie just speeds by right next to you as she takes to the floor. It's a pretty funny thing to see.
