Anybody know anything about TVs? Well my dad's is really starting drive me crazy.

We are all familiar with the "mosquito" noise, aren't we? That high pitched noise that only younger people can hear. Well my dad's tv makes that exact noise, except when on HD. When its on an HD channel, the noise is gone. Anything other channel, and I'm the only one that hears this high pitched noise...well besides my dog I'm guessing. For awhile I was used to it, after a minute or two it's like it wasn't even there. Now the fucker is in repeat mode. It starts out really high, then goes down, and shoots back up in a matter of ten seconds...on and on and on.

Any idea what I have to do to get it to shut the fuck up?

if you have a comcast cable box you should have two controllers. i just put the TV volume down and the cable box volume way up

Hmm.. The tv in my room only does it when its turned on...Sometimes I hear it if the tv is on but nothing specifically on the tv is. However this one I can hear across the house.
