Nickelback probably....more because of Hinder and Saving Abel, though. Papa Roach was great. The second stage of MAAW went into the gutter with the last two bands.
sarsfest Sam Roberts, Kathleen Edwards, La Chicane, The Tea Party, The Flaming Lips, Sass Jordan, The Isley Brothers, Blue Rodeo, Justin Timberlake, The Guess Who, Rush, AC/DC, and The Rolling Stones. the only good bands were the last four but it took me all day to get as close as i did. there was over 450 000 people there, and lots of them brought blankets and shit, then would bitch because i walked across their fucking blanket, i told them this is a concert not a fucking picnic get the fuck over it or move to the back. i almost got beat up twice
Velvet Revolver. Not sure how to say it. The show was amazing, but the fact that doors opened at like 5:30, and they were the only band and didn't come onstage until about 9:30 was really fucking shitty. I was super pissed and so was everybody else.
either emilie autumn or projekt revolution 2007. emilie autumn... just like you said laurjohn... the things you would do for a lay. linkin park and MSI were both cool at projekt, but having to sit through my chemical romance, HIM, taking back sunday, etc was fucking horrible. i actually fell asleep on the lawn to HIM
some honorable mentions... Alice In Chains - 1992 when they opened for Van Halen. Layne spent the entire show sitting on the front of the stage with his legs dangling. he did not get up once, and the rest of the band wasn't moving or doing anything, no energy whatsoever. I saw them again a couple years ago and they were the exact opposite and put on a great show, so it must have been am off night.
Melvins - just horrible. saw them when they opened for GWAR
Shattered Silence - my band from high school. just horrible
haha, sit through one of his shows, its even worse than you would think. its incredible he was on the main stage (pretty high up on the bill too) and he seriously did not have one fast paced song. my chem was actually better... at least they did some crowd involvement and stuff and didnt just sit there and attempt to sing and look pretty the entire time.
i guess what im trying to say is the singer and erik should be bff's
