Work is throwing us a work holiday party and taking us all to go see Rise Against/Chevelle in a couple weeks. 

So now I get to see Chevelle!

I've seen them twice before, so this will be my third time. I just really like Chevelle. But I wasn't going to buy a ticket and go before since I don't really care for Rise Against, and tickets are $60.

Used to be that $60 seemed expensive for a show but it seems like that's the norm now

I cannot remember the last time I paid 60 bucks for a show. It's usually between 15 and 25 for me unless it's someone like Maiden.

Yea, even Megadeth, Lamb of God, Trivium, and Hatebreed was like $30 a ticket. $60 for two bands is a lot imo

Must change by market. Every house of blues show I've been to in 4 years or so has been around 60 after fees. Palladium with smaller bands usually around 40.

Yeah $60 for two bands like that is not that bad, especially in Chicago lol. Each of those two could headline their own show for that amount and it wouldn't be that unreasonable.

Im like $660 deep on tool tickets for the upcoming tour, and ive only given Todd like $100 of the $240 or whatever it was for 2 tickets lol. 

So $60 doesn’t feel like much, but around here most small venues are like 20-35 pre show, 35-50 day off before fees.

Got scalped getting tickets for KSE/Light the Torch in Boston for Feb but it's all good cuz it's the only show I'll be able to swing this winter
