Idk. Ufc is doing a full stadium show. Im interested to see how that goes.
With everyone being able to get the vaccine starting March 29, i think we could be trending in the direction of having shows. But were probably still a little early hoping for that one.
we have had some shows scheduled for the fall. we have some outdoor casino ones too. Idk how its going to go really. Hopeful but july just seems soon af after the way we have lived the last year.
Haven't we been doing all this shit so we can get back to normal? The social distancing, the masks, the lockdowns, curfews, etc. How much longer do you think we should be doing all this?
I kind of think we should just make everyone get the vaccine if you want to go to mass gatherings like concerts ext.
I have a lot of friends, some of them people i consider intelligent, saying they are going to wait and "see how the frontlines do" when it comes to taking the vaccine.
which is your choice, but most people don't realize that a large majority of the disinformation and smear campaign going on about the American vaccines are coming from a Russian smear campaign. Russia wants to sell their vaccine, so they are trying their hardest to discredit the American vaccine.
I'm not trying to be a dick here. I'm genuinely curious why some people think we're rushing getting back to normal. I know a lot of people who have been terrified into this way of life and for them, there is no getting back to normal. You all know where I stand on the COVID restrictions but I wanna know what some of you think about all this shit.

Im gonna get an antibodies test done soon to see if I had COVID before I decide on getting the vaccine. If I never had COVID and I do get the vaccine, I'm prolly gonna wait a year or two. I'm 26yo and healthy and I know the risk I'm taking. Ive joked about the vaccine before but I'm not anti-vax or anything. It does kinda scare me that it was only developed a few months ago and we don't know long term effects yet. Same can be said about contracting COVID I guess but almost everyone I know who got it said it kinda sucked for a couple days but it's nothing I wouldn't be able to get over.
thats the thing though. just because you're healthy and young doesn't mean you wont get hit hard with it.
Statistically, yeah you are probably okay. but not always. Ive seen several young people and get hit hard. Plus we really don't know the long term effects yet, but a lot of people end up with long term lung damage.
Also on the point that "it was only developed a few months ago". Sure, but coronavirus's have been around forever, and we have been working on vaccines for them forever. yes mRNA vaccines are new, but they have been in development for decades.
Yeah it wasn't really aimed at you but every time I bring up anything political it turns into an argument. I know I troll a lot in the gov thread but I just wanted to offer my perspective and see what other people around the country think about what's going on cuz it's different every where you go.

Edit, nvm flights are expensive. Probably wait it out for a midwest dat
Other smaller concerts are already popping up around here but then again it's Texas and we don't give a shit apparently.
Im ready to fucking party though.
Im kind of the opinion that nothing is going to go back to the way it was completely.

didn't think you were at all being a dick either.
