    Has anyone here ever seen Royal Thunder? They are apparently playing a tiny venue here tonight, had zero idea of it. I'm trying to save some cash since our job is moving to Virginia in 3 weeks, but I've contemplated to just attending it. Wasn't sure if they ripped live or would be disappointing.

    I saw them open for Pallbearer a few years back in Nashville. They were cool.

    I guess it would depend on your opinion of their last couple albums. Their EP and first album were heavy and doomy, but they've moved towards 70's hard rock with their recent albums. If that's not your style you may not dig them live. She's got a hell of a voice though.

    Haven't heard the new album much, but i dug the second one. It was a little repetitive, but she's definitely a great singer.

    in 2013 wasn't great but I'd give them another chance
