the whole rest of the lineup is ass though. not worth it imo
yeah the entire rest if the line up (at least the names I recognized) suck but its worth it to see Metallica. Haven't seen them yet and they haven't toured here in forever. Plus, if I don't have the money I'll just do what I did for The Cure and just stand by the fence and watch them for free.
Go. I went in '13 and was sober because the super strict smoking policy and I was under 21. Shit was zero tolerance, I saw people getting kicked out for lighting their first cigs. Still was a killer show. Missed '14 but went this year with my dad and we got fucked up, and hell of a show. Opened wit Dark Side through Great Gig and closed with the last side of the The Wall with a hell of a lot of shit in the middle. Surprised me that they played the new song though. They have a pretty set touring schedule from what I can tell. The past five years they have been here in early March.
The setlist is fucking goat. I need to see it since I can't see the real thing.
