Aaron Lewis fits Staind's sound. And he IS a better singer than Lemmy.
No he's really not. Lemmy may not be the greatest vocalist ever but he is better than Lewis. I've seen both live. Motorhead slays while Staind just kinda leaves you with a blank feeling. Also, even though Lemmy's isn't exactly a traditional style, at least he's original and a fuckin boss. Lewis sounds alot like Seether's singer at points.

Regardless, Motorhead were boring as fuck live, and Lemmy's voice was grating, like nails on a chalkboard. The ONLY redeeming part of their set was D's drum solo, the dude can fucking play.

How so? I thought they were going to suck the first time I saw them, and they ended up completely stealing the show. Lewis is a much more diverse vocalist, he can do radio rock, metal, hardcore, country etc. There is not a single person who can legitimately say "Lemmy is a good singer", yes, he does fit Motorhead's style, but that is literally the only style he could ever do, he CAN'T do anything else.
You're probably biased because you like Motorhead more. I don't like either band on recording, but I'll always enjoy Staind live. I don't thinking I'd go pay to see them headline, but I'd check them out at any festival they're playing that I attend.
