Alter Bridge is good, Volbeat is okay, Chevelle is alright, and Black Label Society is pretty good. Not a fan of the rest of the line up. Only heard of Lacuna Coil because I saw them open for Motorhead and Megadeth on Gigantour 2012.
Eh, they're nothing special but they were fun at Mayhem last year. I don't mind blatant retro worship in the live setting but on record it isn't great.
Idk who Uproar would use as a decent head liner to fit their bill that they haven't used already. Unfortunately I think the head liner is going to be Five Finger Death Punch. Cash in on their head lining status while they can. I like Five Finger, but they have just been on way too much head lining shit lately. Like over Megadeth and Slayer (I know those are huge international fests that go for a mainstream opener but still). Not to mention they just played Mayhem.
I liked the first two albums alot. But with American Capitalist they kind of dumbed the sound down and tried way too hard to be radio friendly. I think they're getting way too big too fast. All the attention is just swelling their heads.
I had friends who bumped that shit on the reg when it came out. They thought it was the heaviest shit in the world. Then I heard the song Bad Company and I fuckin lost it ) )
