To be honest, I only am able to talk to someone whose music taste I don't consider volatile. I'm willing to talk to you on music Bianca, because I believe you are sincere in what you like, and that 180 degree shifts in your music taste will not be frequent. I can't say the same about Erik. It has nothing to do about Attack Attack as a band, it's just I feel as though he's unable to find a zen that he's comfortable in. It's difficult to talk with people who haven't found that zen yet.
but is it really so important to stick with one genre or type of music? in my opinion it has to do with ur mood. if ur pissed listen to behemoth. if ur upbeat listen to "Shut Your Mouth" by AA! idk i just dont understand why people cant like what they want
There's always a category people listen to the most. My forte is Black and Death metal. His is, who knows. It's not about just sticking to one category it's about what you love most and so forth
yea but people can have other things they like that are so different like when you said you liked MCR [that was you right?] i love AA! and i also love Rammstein

I fully agree with this. Like what you want. But I find it difficult to discuss music with someone who thinks band x sucks this week but next week they just tore it up on their new album.
"in my opinion it has to do with ur mood."
But your mood doesn't necessarily dictate what's good and bad, it dictates what you feel like listening to. That's not the way I would like to explain it, but that's what I think.

well thats completely different. then theyre just a hypocrite and for the record AA!s new stuff is way different from their last album. im not surprised more people are coming around to it

but good and bad is opinion. idk it just never made sense to me

but yea give them a chance at least
That's how I interpreted Erik's shift in music taste, but I think hypocrite could be a bit harsh.
