^EW has always for the most part prefered the original version of the Office over the american one. If u ever get a chance to dl it, please do, its brilliant, although you will realize that the american version used alot of the plots and jokes were taken almost line for line
ah ok, same here. In fact i was one of the early nay sayers saying it was a stupid idea for NBC to even attempt to do The Office, as they had failed miserably the year before with their remake of Coupling

They changed some of the humor around to suit it for an American audience. Once they started writing their own it was a lot more entertaining for me to watch.
