Grado headphones?

Anyone have them? Im buying some new headphones, and i hear from many people that grado is pretty much top of the line... Im just wondering if anyone here has any. they are fairly expensive, and i want to be sure they are worth it.

I like the Sennheiser stuff, especially for wireless headphones. Great prices and great sound.

I just don't think people understand what quality headphones are until they listen to really good audiophile phones. I love when people think that their skullcandys are the shit. Probably the only brands i would buy are grado, sennheiser, AKG, and maybe a few others. You just gotta be willing to spend a little extra money.

I do love sennheiser, but ive heard really good things about grado, so idk what im gunna get at this moment. it is deffinately between grado and sennheiser.

Check out the Grado's at a music store first and compare them to the newer model Sennheisers. I know the feeling......money's tight and you want to make sure you get the most for the least. I'm in the same boat.

BTW skullcandy sucks! Shitty sound quality and poorly assembled.

exactly. If im spending over $50 on headphones they better be amazing and last a long time. Ill have to check out the new senns and grados at a store like u said. As for skullcandy, if you buy them, have fun buying a new pair in 2 months.

you can definately tell the difference between good headphones and cheap headphones. I listen to my headphones for like 4 or 5 hours if not more every day, so for me, its worth it. If i had my own place i would invest in a really good sound system instead, but with my living situation i cant (im in a dorm), so headphones are pretty much teh only way i can listen to music.

I have my own house and still use my headphones every day. My wife may not want to listen to what I am so they are useful. She don't like metal.........but she loves me so it's all good.
