It is very possible for you to not attend a lecture and still get an A.

Case and point: I did that for my circuit analysis class and managed to pull out an A....lol. Either way, it's awesome.

I know. That's why I love college. I stopped attend my Sociology class because I nearly got in a fight...so I choose getting an F over getting expelled...but I got an A. Fuck yeah.

Yeah...I haven't done real homework in years. Other than papers and art projects, I don't know what homework other than reading and papers is anymore.

I wrote 17 papers this past semester...including one 10pg paper and one 15pg paper.

And this is why I chose engineering. I'm a good writer and have written a 10 page paper before, but that would drive me insane.

They need to make college harder. Same with high schools and all other schooling in general it's far too easy to slack off and pass.

Depends on what the papers are on. I HATE research papers. I had to do the 15pg paper on censorship of books. Ugh. It was sort of fun though. I used Harry Potter and Catcher In The Rye.

They had an excellent article in Newsweek not too long ago about doing pretty much just that. Firing all the bad teachers, raising standards. I support it, but the first thing our education system needs is a lot more funding.

I'm not going to apply declared, unless I find my calling in the next half a year or so.

I went to Community College as an English major...on a scale of 1-10...I worked maybe a 5. I'm going to be working harder at Rutgers though in the Fall.
