Sunday's post-Super Bowl "Glee" -- packed with a fiery Katy Perry cheerleading routine and a guest appearance by Katie Couric -- was the highest-rated scripted show in three years, Fox announced Monday.
It did not, however, beat last year's post-Super Bowl airing of "Undercover Boss."
"Glee" show earned an 11.1 ratings among adults 18-49 and 26.8 million total viewers.
It was the highest-rated scripted show on any network since a post-Super Bowl "House" episode in 2008.
It's a pretty simple explanation. 3/4 of those people at most actually watched the show. You could give the after the Super Bowl slot to a hamster running on a wheel for an hour and even it would have high ratings.
Nothing against the show, but that's pretty much how it is.
Only reason it had so many viewers was people leaving their tv on and walking away or people falling asleep with it on. I know we didn't change the channel for a while because after the game and interviews we all had various things to get done like taking the dogs out and cleaning up the mess.
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
