Megadeth will kick off its “Rust in Peace” 20th anniversary tour on March 1 in Spokane, Washington, the band has announced. The month-long trek – which also features Testament and Exodus – will touch down in 21 cities in North America.
Joining the recent trend that’s seen major acts performing classic albums from start to finish, Megadeth will play their landmark 1990 Rust in Peace disc in its entirety. The band’s set will be fleshed out with other fan-favorites as well.
Testament will also jump on the “full-album performance” bandwagon, playing their thrash-metal debut classic, The Legacy, in its entirety. Testament guitarist Eric Peterson points out that the songs, for the most part, were written when the band members were still in their teens. “It’s no wonder that with a foundation like that, we are still here today,” he said.
