"^ pfft what has exodus done in the last 20 years, metallica sucked for a decade, so did megadeth, so did testament.......etc"
This proves you know nothing. Testament are the most consistent American thrash band. I wouldn't say the've ever made a poor album, but they have alright ones. Megadeth took a poor direction on Risk, but that's the only one that could be considered "suck." I agree with you on Metallica, but Exodus has also created some fine albums in the meantime, don't forget also they broke up for a while.
well if metallica isnt one of your top 3 then i think your pretty dumb, even if they are fuckin assholes. i mean cmon overkill better than metallica.....
Testament are the most consistent American thrash band. I wouldn't say the've ever made a poor album, but they have alright ones.
Yeah they switch band members like evry year, at least slayer has a consistent line up. they have to made pretty mediocre albums...
Megadeth took a poor direction on Risk, but that's the only one that could be considered "suck." okay fine but name all the suck albums that slayer made? maybe one or two in the late 90's early 2000's but not many...

exodus is only good with baloff and havent been relevant since the 80's
i like all these bands but to someone says slayer is the worst band on this list and ur gonna get at me cuz of what i said? cmon....
slayer hasnt been relevant since the early 90's just like most of these bands but in their prime they were better than all these bands except for maybe metallica

They didn't.

Divine Intervention, Diabolus, (You're lucky I'm not counting Undisputed Attitude as an album), Christ Illusion was staler than usual. The problem with Slayer is their material isn't imaginative. I'd like to see some progression throughout a career, although it isn't the most important thing in the world.
Yes, I am. I'm defensive of thrash, and those who say that everyone went shit for a while, because most of the time they didn't.
the whole genre is stale though, its the same recycled riffs over and over and over. its like most death metal, its been done time for somethin new, like u said a progression...

yeah they definitely didnt have to many lineup changes lol
He said they didn't release a mediocre album. We all know they have had lineup changes, but every album has been good. Some are of course better than others obviously.
TUPAC IS DEAD/THE LEGEND IS GONE/THEY SAYIN TUPAC'S BACK?/DEM NIGGAS WRONG
yes they did, all of testaments albums are not above average, cmon. they were a great metal band in the legacy hayday but i have to say that i dont care much for them now or just about any thrash for that matter

I would put Legacy, The New Order, Souls of Black, Practice What You Preach and probably The Ritual and The Formation of Damnation in a top 50 of Thrash, with 3 making the top 10 or 15.
