No, they didn't. Reign in Blood had filler up to it's knees, South of Heaven didn't seem like Slayer and Seasons might be their best, but nowhere near Kill Em All. I'd say their best are Seasons and Hell Awaits.
Seasons was their best. Reign was great too and south of heaven did sound like slayer and that one was awesome too hell awaits was meh. None of metallica's albums add up to slayer's in each of their primes
Seasons and South were there best. reign is good but indeed it did have fillers. and Hell Awaits is not meh, its a great album. As is Show No Mercy. i still like Slayer more than Metallica but albums like And Justice for All and MAster of Puppets are indeed better than reign in blood and seasons
