I hate the prequels. Darth maul is stupid!
He shows up for two seconds to launch a robot, then comes back an hour later, kills someone we care nothing about, and dies.

Qui Gon Jin was a useless character, without any depth. There was no character development for him. In fact, I bet you can't describe him apart from physically.
