Now,...do all the computers in a network need to be on Windows 7?
In other words, will buying a Windows 7 computer not work well with our server? Will it find the printer, etc.?
I have heard of people have problems with that. Everyone says Windows 7 is great,...but that you have to upgrade all your computers to Windows 7 for things to work properly.
MY HOME OFFICE HAS 2 COMPUTERS RUNNING WINDOWS XP PRO AND MY NEW LAPTOP RUNNING WINDOWS 7 BOTH MY PRINTERS AND ALL EXTERNAL HARD DRIVES WORK FINE WINDOWS 7 DOES NOT HAVE THE TERRIBLE NETWORK PROBLEMS VISTA HAD STICK WITH THE WORKSTATION FOR WORKING ON DRAWINGS MY DUEL 20" MAKE IT A PLEASURE COMPARED TO THE 17" SCREEN OF MY ELITEBOOK

We only have 2 computers in our building, that has about 500 computers in it, that has Windows 7. mine and the director of MIS. The rest have Windows NT and XP and we havent had any issues
got my car inspected today. the day i dreaded for months because i was sure it would fail and i dont have the money to fix. It actually passed the safety inspection and failed emmissions due to the computer thinking there was a problem but there isnt. If the check engine light doesnt come on in the next week, i can try again and hopefully it passes. if it dont, it will cost $350 for the replacement part it needs. I have 60 days to fix or i will be driving my car illegally
A car inspection? I've never heard of such a thing. We don't have car inspections in MI.
Cops just issue out "Fix It" tickets instead.
And good to know that Windows 7 will work on the network. I don't plan on using the laptop for any of my work. I will only use it when I go on the road. In the meantime I have a nice HP xw4600 Workstation with dual 23" monitors.
Hard to give up dual monitors for a laptop.
Nice machine I have a xw8200 that I have had for 3 years thing is a monster and I still have a empty 2nd cpu slot
Yup, in mass they are heavy into lowering emmissions and having cars checked yearly for emmission levels

TODAY SHE SAYS SHE FEELS FINE I FUCKING HOPE SO THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH SUFFERING ONE GIRL CAN TAKE AND I THINK SHE HAS REACHED THE LIMIT
