Peyton is the greatest regualar season quarterback. Defiantly not the greatest of all-time. In the postseason he's just mediocre at best. Greatest qb of all-time is without a doubt Montana.
"Brady's Super Bowl wins doesn't make him a better QB. A super Bowl is a team stat more than its a personal stat.
With that logic then Trent Dilfer is better than Dan Marino."
Fair point, but when you win three Super Bowls, are one minute away from winning a fourth, and are the MVP for two of those Super Bowls, you sure as hell can use championships as a measuring stick for quarterback greatness. Same logic goes for greatness of basketball players. Joe Montana is better than Brady, he never lost a Super Bowl. That's about the only quarterback I can think of who was better in the postseason.
I agree that having a Super Bowl ring solidifies your status ,but that is also a team statistic more than a personal statistic.
I personally think Tom Brady is a good QB ,but for me its hard to put his name up there with the greats because of the cheating. Thats not hating, that is a fact.
I know there run in 2007 was great and they should have won the Super Bowl, but they didn't.
Thats why for me personally I'd take Peyton Manning over Tom Brady.
yeah thx man. Im still pinching myself and can't believe it finally happened. People still haven't left Bourbon St. from last night, but im taking today off from the partying. I'll start again tomorrow during the parade.
I'd still put Tom Brady in my top 5 quarterbacks, the cheating thing is a debate that has been beaten to death and will never be agreed on. Joe Montana is the best of all time, followed by Brady, Unitas, and Elway, probably in that order, in my opinion.

They beat a good Colts team.
Don't put him with the likes of Joe Montana.
I would put John Elway and Johnny Unitas above Joe Montana.
Aikman isn't in my top 5 and he has 3 rings and I'm a Cowboys fan.
Troy Aikman and Michael Irvins stats could have been much better but they did have the All time leading rusher on their team.
