Southern metal supergroup HAIL!HORNET has announced a short run of headlining tour dates in addition to their their two week U.S. Tour with CHURCH OF MISERY and THE GATES OF SLUMBER. The dates begin on June 11th in Denver , CO and wrap up on June 16th in Johnson City TN. The tour will feature direct support from THE GATES OF SLUMBER and will be the band’s second outing for their latest album Disperse The Curse.
HAIL!HORNET is “Dixie” Dave Collins (Weedeater, Buzzov*en, Bongzilla) on bass, Erik Larson (Alabama Thunderpussy, Birds of Prey, Parasytic) on drums, Vince Burke (Beaten Back To Pure, Lunch) on guitars, and T-roy Medlin (Sourvein, Buzzov*en) on vocals. The band released their sophomore album, Disperse The Curse earlier this year on Relapse Records. The album can currently be streamed at this location and purchased via Relapse here.
Drummer Erik Larson commented on the upcoming tour:
“All of us in H!H are super stoked to be touring with Church of Misery . T-Roy has spent time with them in Europe before so I’m sure there will be some reminiscing. Personally, the time I spent in Japan was the most eye opening experience I ever had, so I hope to repeat that experience for them here and show them how some grimey southerners get it done. Not to Mention we’ll have The Gates of Slumber with as well to keep the smooth trail rolling…it’s going to be a good time for sure. Hopefully Texas won’t be too fucking hot, and melt the Japanese.”

Going over my bass lines for a song we haven't played live in six years. Ahh nostalgia.
