I used to keep my guitar under my couch. Your more likely to practice if it somewhere really accessible. It doesn't fit under the couch I have now so it gets stored elsewhere, and now I hardly touch it anymore.
Its amazing how moving it even 5 feet can affect how much time you play. I used to play it daily when I could just pick it up,but now I've played probably 3 times in the last year.
well now its in my basement plus i guess its kinda that out of sight out of mind thing i dont really have an intrest in playing it anymore im just upset because it was a gift from my parents and now i dont play it
Dig it out and place itwhere you see it everyday again. Chances are you'll end up picking it up again. Get a wall hagner for it. That way even if you don't play it it still looks metal hanging there lol.
It will be good in a hanger. Just make sure it goes right into a wall stud. I also prefer to angle the hangers up a little bit for extra protection against it sliding off. I've got a pretty heavy Les Paul knock-off and haven't had any problems with it. Keeping a warlock stashed in the basement is a felony in some countries.

EDIT: is your keyboard next to your bed?
That's bad ass man. How does it sound? I wanna hear it I love drums from different cultures that make them.
Marc, thanks! It sounds awesome actually, though if it gets too cool, the rawhide expands, and i have to put it under a lamp to tighten it up again.
My amp is right next to my bed, with at least one guitar leaning on it.
