On September 10, 2009, Nine Inch Nails performed what would be their final show ever – a blistering 3 1/2 hour, 37 song set – and then waved goodbye.

nine inch nails: [after all is said and done] is the symbolic wave back by their fans – a labor of love filmed by the fans, made by the fans… and made for the fans. Shot exclusively in High Definition and mixed in 5.1 surround sound, NIN: [after all is said and done] documents, from beginning to end, the blistering & momentous final show of one of rock’s most influential artists, using entirely fan-shot footage… the raw energy of their final show, memorialized forever.

As part of the historic collaborative effort, dedicated NIN fans from all over the world (Japan, Mexico, Israel, Greece, England, and the United States) have sent in their private HD footage of the auspicious final show at their personal expense, motivated by the prospect of helping to create a testament to the final show of a band that has meant so much to them. In total, over 1 Terabyte of High Definition footage, from over 26 entirely unique fan-sources has been submitted.

But more so than just the footage, the production team (dubbed A Tiny Little Dot) is also entirely fan based and comprised exclusively of versed audio/video professionals, all of whom volunteer their valuable time and services to this massive undertaking for free, and all of whom are die-hard NIN fans. To date, the production team is comprised of more than 17 members including: professional editors, audio engineers, motion graphics artists, colorists, web designers, blu-ray authors, content creators, artists, and technical consultants. For more information about them, click HERE.

As as a “labor of love,” [after all is said and done ] will be offered to the public on an entirely not-for-profit basis. In keeping with the style of past Nine Inch Nails releases, [after all is said and done] will be offered as a 1) deluxe professionally printed and packaged multi-disc Blu-Ray and DVD sets, and alternatively, as an 2) entirely FREE internet download. Both versions will be offered in 1080p High Definition, contain an array of bonus content, and several as-of-yet unannounced features.

[after all is said and done] is a parting gift to a band that has repeatedly broken with record industry norms by offering their music and content for free, and that has given so much to its fans.
