Jake Shields went five round with Dan Henderson for the title and durning his post fight interview Mayhem ran up to him and "pulled a Kanye" and Shields camp jumped him.
They just made MMA look really bad in that brawl. Especially since the entire Cesar Gracie camp jumped one guy. Sure, Miller shouldn't have interrupted Shields like that, but all he was trying to do was campaign for a rematch. The beating that followed was uncalled for. They had no reason at all to jump him like that.
