For a true fan they want to stay because in their mind they are thinking of all the scenios for pulling out a comeback
This^ I always think of different ways my team can win if their down and I wanna stay to see if they actually pull through. Put if it's like 2min left and down by 20 then I know we lost and get all sad in the seats lol.
The thing is we don't empty our stadium even if we lose by 20. We show our appreciation for them by staying the whole way. It's a slap in the face when "fans" empty the stadium after your team is losing. They play their heart out and give it their all every night. Best you can do is cheer for them and be in the stands at the end of the game and UMASS basketball lawl.
hey being a umass basketball fan is way hared than a longhorns or cowboys fan.. why dont you route for a normal team and then maybe u can start talking
lol well then u people are either all delusional or sad..have fun sitting in a empty stadium like a retard
Some people are just dedicated to their team, or just have a passion for the game. Nothing wrong with that..
nah nothing wrong with that but if u leave in say the ninth inning down 10 runs you can still be a true fan and just want to go home. like i said in the playoffs u should prob stay to the end of games but reg season games u can leave sometimes

As a season ticket holder, I take the opposite approach. I find it a slap in the face when my team puts on pathetic performace. As a paying fan, if im not pleased with what im seeing, im gonna leave.
riiiiiiiight! this isn't the 90's anymore and Marcus Camby isn't your best player. UMASS basketball has been dead for over a decade and will continue to be.

I've been a fan of the horns since I was born. I live like an hour away from Austin and have always been my favorite college team. You think Longhorns haven't been in the shit times? Same with Spurs and Cowboys. Cowboys don't win shit but I still defend them proudly cause I am a dedicated fan.

Were you down in San Antonio for those 4 Saints games?

brother, there were legit times leaving during the halftime. A lot of them.
what if one of those times they comeback tho....im not risking leaving when there could be big comeback
if the games still in reach, of course im not leaving. But for the most part, you know what your team is capable doing and not doing.
