this is the year the braves have been building towards since the baby braves years when francouer and mccann first came up and the 90's braves started leaving or retiring. the next 3 years, in specific are going to be exciting
I just watched the video and read the article about it. Im interested to see what greinke said but at the same time Quentin is a moron. Who intentionally hits someone with a one run lead and a 2-2 count? I don't even like greinke or the dodgers but im on their side of this. That dude acted like a fool and I hope some clocks him in the head this time. He said greinke threw at his head. Yo dawg ball hit you in the elbow.
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
Quentin used to play for the Sox and Greinke used to play for the Royals, so I'm sure there may have been some history there. Quentin gets hit by pitches more than anyone in baseball and I'm guessing Greinke has hit him a few times before, so he apparently must have snapped. In 2008 I think he was having an MVP season until he got hit by a pitch and broke his hand in late August if I remember right. It may have been Greinke for all I know. He really hasn't been the same player since.
Not excusing it at all, but it's weird how often he gets hit by pitches. I'm guessing it's probably his batting stance, but still.
I'm surprised this happens much anymore. Especially with how Greinke is hurt, it's only a matter of time before lawsuits and criminal shit start happening. I mean, the Dodgers just sank a fuckton of money into Greinke and now a division rival's player has put him out for an extended period of time for what sounds like no reason. Sounds like cause for action, at least with the league. I'm not saying that I think that's what should happen, but it's the way things are now
Choo has been hit 5 times already this year and 14 last year. You don't see him acting like a baby
Maybe if he charged the mound he wouldn't get hit anymore. Maybe he's acting like a baby for not charging the mound. To me all Quentin did was make pitchers think twice before hitting someone like that, when you wind up fucked up because of it.
