As great as Verlander is, he's also overdue for a bad start. He is great but he's not 0.74 ERA great. This season he has been letting up 4 runs or more once about every 4 or 5 starts. So it's not like he is invincible.
Id have to argue zito has had the best career....hes been to multiple postseasons...has a ring..is starting game one of the WS and oh yeah on small thing that set him apart from the other two....a 100 million dollar contract
lol yeah....there mearly separated by 30 wins (more for hudson) and .5 in ERA (hudson again) and there strike outs are basically the same....but zito has a ring...starting game one...and a huge contract
hudson isn't exactly slacking in the finance department, bro. and besides, i'd be embarrassed if i had that big of a contract and the ring i'd "won" came in a season where i was left off the post-season roster completely
