Well it's also hard to tell you who to draft if I don't know who the other teams "kept"

For a head to head league I think infielders are most important. 2B, SS, 3B. Trying to find guys with good combinations of power, speed, BA, and OBP, assuming those are some of your categories. The the rest of the positions, once you get past the first wave of studs, they are all basically interchangable. It is nice to have one or two stud pitchers and closers, but I wouldn't draft them until at least the 5th or 6th round.

I'm a NY Mets fans. FEEL MY PAIN! If we win 58 games this year I will be surprised. I say Trade Wright,Ike Johan..they whole fucking team. Eat part of Bey's contract and get rid of him also and just start over. COMPLETELY OVER!

He's got great stuff. He's a bit of a mental headcase though. If I were the Pirates, I'd keep my prospects and let someone else overpay to get him.

middle infield for sure...try to find guys that are eligible at multiple positions...i have found that over the course of a long season this is very helpful

I was considering trying to get Hanley Ramirez because I'm pretty sure he would be listed as third and 2nd and that could be beneficial. I'm going to have to do some research on players

yeah...it really helps to have guys that are eligible for a corner infield as well as middle...i had a big problem last year where i had guys hurt and could not make the best lineup because of this

I would assume somebody already has Hanley, but he had a shit year last year, so you might get lucky. Doesn't matter what he is listed. If he is available snag him w/ that first pick

Yeah. Jut saw that. He was def a class act. He caught alot of grief from the other Mets players because he stayed faithful to his wife and refused all the drugs and shit that went on with the '86 Mets who were the most feared team in baseball. They went to your town, screwed your wives and girlfriends then kicked your baseball teams ass. I miss that team. Anyways R.I.P. Gary Carter.

The Pirates and New York Yankees have agreed to a trade that would send right-hander A.J. Burnett to Pittsburgh and are awaiting approval from the commissioner's office Friday, sources said.

The Pirates will send right-handed reliever Diego Moreno and outfielder Exicardo Cayones to New York in return, sources said. Moreno, a 25-year-old from Venezuela, has split the past two seasons between the Class A and Double-A minor league teams. Cayones, who is 20, spent 2011 in Class A.

The approval of the commissioner's office is needed because of the money involved. The Pirates will pay $13 million of the $31.1 million remaining on Burnett's contract, sources said (Burnett is on a year-round contract and already has been paid $1.9 million in 2012).

As a Yankee the past three seasons, Burnett is 34-35 with a 4.79 ERA. He is 121-111 with a 4.10 ERA in 13 seasons with the Yankees, Blue Jays and Marlins.

As soon as the Burnett deal is done, the Yankees will begin the aggressive pursuit of a veteran designated hitter, sources said.

So CF what do you think. We have a 200 point salary cap I have votto that is right at 30 points. Rabinson cano is availible and he is 30 as well but clearly the top person available. But that could strain me down the road picking

I'd have to pick up Cano. You can always fill in other positions like OF with mid-level players and be ok. Plus you can always find decent players on waivers that nobody has heard of or expects to have good years. Middle infielders are the most important positions to have studs at.
