    i picked the braves at the beginning of the year to win that division mostly to get under georges skin :-)) ....hows that trade for uggla working out?

    I didn't want Uggla, so I don't care, i wanted Prado at second (when healthy). and Hinske/Heyward/McLouth(or Schafer) in the OF.

    NL west:san fran
    WC: phillies they have to get healthy and stay healthy

    those were my pics to start the year...looking good so far...if the playoffs today i would have correctly picked all 8 teams

    I said last year Uggla was better, and i was saying Hudson had been better the last couple years, and you kept saying that Hamels was better "because he won a world series", which is a fucking stupid excuse.

    Also i do think Uggla will catch on, he's been hitting more HRs, and putting the ball in play lately, not saying he'll do his usual 30 HR 90 RBI seasons, but end up around 22 HR 60 RBI, which is still decent for the average second baseman.

    the bottom line is, as I said in the beginning of the year...

    Utley > Uggla
    Hamels > Hudson
    Phillies > Braves
